DXC Technology builds on partnership with Rea and the Brumbies in New Zealand
DXC Technology has donated a further 10 refurbished laptop and computer devices to Rea Coaching in Wellington, New Zealand as part of its ongoing commitment to the DXC Digital Futures Program and the DXC Māori and Pacific Peoples Program. This takes the total number of devices donated to Rea Coaching and their student learners up to 20, with an additional 20 to be donated over the duration of 2023.
The donation was integrated into a formal ceremony at the DXC offices, where DXC invited their sponsor partner, the ACT Brumbies to present the second instalment of devices to Rea’s student learners. The inclusion of the Brumbies forms part of their National Indigenous Engagement Program, of which DXC are the presenting partner and the team were in town as part of their Super Rugby schedule.
Rea student learners will utilise the devices in their technical and soft skills training to build digital futures, ensuring they are equipped for success and professional growth when they start their careers.
This donation brings together the collective values of all 3 organisations which aim to improve societal outcomes and increase diversity and inclusion through technology, innovation, and pathways programs for Māori and Pacific People.
