If you're injured at work, it's important to tell your employer immediately. They should provide first aid if it's appropriate, and help you seek medical treatment.
Your employer must notify their claims service provider of the injury or significant illness within 48 hours.
In the event that your employer hasn't notified their claims service provider of your injury, you or your representative (eg. family member, doctor) may notify them on your behalf.
If you've had time off work and/or medical treatment, we will contact you, your employer, and if necessary, your doctor to determine how best to support your recovery.

A Certificate of Capacity is the primary communication tool between you and your medical support team.
Having it will ensure your recovery needs are communicated accurately to the rest of their support team, including your employer, your case manager and any other key stakeholders.
Completing the Certificate of Capacity will also help ensure:
DXC will provide you with a claim number once your injury has been reported.
This number should be used on all correspondence relating to your claim and shared with your treatment providers.
