The world's largest companies and public sector organizations trust DXC to drive new levels of performance, competitiveness, and customer experience.

Depending on your expertise or area of interest, you will select a business, technical or project management role within our seven service lines:

Our academic programmes are designed to broaden and deepen your knowledge and shape your future with us.

A percentage of your hours are on the job, and the remainder of your time is dedicated to gaining practical experience and formal qualifications. These are available to everyone on the Early Careers Programme.

As a virtual first company, the vast majority of our roles are fulfilled remotely, however we do expect all our Early Careers participants to have the majority of their time on one of our key sites, closely engaging with their managers and teams and are also encouraged to travel to meet customer needs.  We also encourage regular collaboration sessions through networking and community events.

There is support available for you throughout the programme, including mentoring to help you get the most from your role and ensure you have a valuable experience. In addition, you will have a dedicated manager who will work closely with you up until you transition from the programme into mainstream employment with DXC. You will also be assigned a buddy, a team-lead and an Early Careers group, all of whom are there to help support you and your journey.

Rachel-Anne Hollywood

DXC security line risk and compliance

"I’ve been given the opportunity to get involved in several projects. Currently, I’m really enjoying security reporting. It allows me to balance working with data and interacting directly with customers. The workload is varied, and gives insight into how security interacts with various areas of business."

George Walker

Project management

"DXC offers a wide range of opportunities that fit my project management interests. There is a focus on development both within your role, and the opportunity to do other training, qualifications and certifications. I really appreciate the company’s approach to work/life choices."

Emily Bradley

Modern Workplace at UK Ministry of Defence

"Last year I had the opportunity to attend an industry event in London, to represent both DXC and a charity. It was interesting to learn more about the solutions DXC provide within the defence sector, and get involved with some charity work to support our veterans. This was also a great opportunity to meet some of the team I work with on a day-to-day basis, outside of the virtual first environment."

Richard Shittu

Project management, The Scott-Morgan Foundation

"Three things I’ve learnt since joining DXC: the importance of collaboration to complete tasks; how to deal with stakeholders in a variety of environments; and how to manage multiple areas of an ongoing project."

Orlaith Harrigan

Business transformation

"DXC’s people-first strategy stood out to me; and their support throughout the recruitment process and Early Careers Programme underlines this. I graduated with a BSc in International Business Finance and Economics. I knew I wanted to work in a global IT company, where I could enhance the skills and qualifications from my degree, and also work in an environment that delivers excellence for both customers and colleagues."
